We begin near the historic Hospital de la Santa Creu, once one of Europe’s most important medieval hospitals, and walk through streets that witnessed centuries of social change. We’ll talk about the industrial era, the rise of the working class & anarchism, the controversial years when Raval was known as “Barrio Chino,” and its artistic rebirth in the late 20th century.
